National Indigenous Peoples Day marks the celebration of the abundant cultural heritage of Indigenous peoples in Canada. It honours their beliefs, art, and history. Surrounded by nature, this provincial park houses ancient rock carvings that are approximately 1,000 years old. These carvings are scattered around the park and covered in moss, making them hard to spot. These petroglyphs depict a variety of human figures, animals, and tribal symbols.
